These musings, ideas, exhortations are intended to magnify the character of the Living God who loves and desires relationship with you. Jesus Christ the Messiah, Ha Mashiach Yeshua, Isa al massih, is calling you, whether you have made a commitment to Him or not. Have you heard Him calling out to you? Calling to you… Calling out in the cold, darkness of night… Calling to you during the frustrations of the day… Calling to you in a deep longing for something, something you can’t get to, can’t touch or reach… Calling for something, more…. Perhaps you may not know anything about God or Christ and this whole idea of God calling out to you sounds rather surreal and quite ridiculous in the light of day, but yet in the blackness of your worse waking nightmares, you long for something. Have you ever considered God? I mean really contemplated, tried to envisage God from His perspective? God holy, just, tenderhearted, merciful, sustain-er and creator of the universe, looked down from heaven at sinful people living in the mud, muck and mire of wickedness who are helplessly unable to change their predicament. They are hopelessly lost and unable to come back to Him, to God who is holy and altogether pure, yet people are unable to breach this chasm of sin. So what does He do, what does God decide to do with his sick, twisted and diseased creation? God, compassionate and long suffering determines a plan of rescue that can satisfy their plight. He decides to go down to man himself by taking on human form and to pay the price of their sin. Christ Jesus, Messiah in flesh bore the wrath against sin on a cross to show his power over sin, in the resurrection so that everyone who turns from sin to trust in Him, will be reconciled to God forever. This divine action is what Christ Followers and the bible call the gospel, translated literally means, good news and it is! My hope and prayer for you is that you will choose to embrace the Messiah to and experience the good news for yourself. I am praying for you! If you choose this life, please let me know.
He was in the beginning with God.
The true light, which enlightens everyone.
God didn't send His Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him
Issa al Massih

Of late, I have been deeply depressed… suffering. I suppose most people go through periods of blackness, despondency, where life is bereft of enjoyment. They call it grieving, which is far too simplistic an explanation for such a complex mental exercise. Actually, I hate it! I mean, come on… no one wants to suffer. No[…]
I am sad… sad. My last three posts, To Shine Brightly; When Hope is Gone; Moving Towards Forgiveness; attest to the fact that I have moved from Israel back to the states. The move was sudden, unexpected and has driven me into deep mourning. Yes, I have learned from personal experience in my own grief[…]
“There is hope for a tree when it is cut down. It will sprout again. Its shoots will not stop sprouting” (Job 14:7). Sitting in her office plotting…. I, blinded to the depth of hate and bitterness raging within. “The kingdom is besieged! The kingdom is besieged”, she screams out to her task masters. “There[…]
July 6th has passed, Ramadan is over and the other shoe has dropped… I am not in Jerusalem anymore. The ‘Radical’ journey of self-sacrifice, the” Insanity of Obedience” I volunteered for, has ended in just nine short months. Through circumstances unavoidable and inevitable, I was asked to leave. “Yes, you must go! You have 2[…]

According to recent market research conducted by Internet World Statistics, 52.2% of the population in the Middle East use the internet. Yesterday was June 20th! June 20th? What’s so special about June 20th? Laundry day? A great day for summer fun, poolside or hiking up a waterfall in a Wadi? Honestly, I was involved in the same sort of activities until I read a news feed on my IPhone and ‘my eyes were opened’… According to[…]
Isaiah 44:3 “For I will pour water on the thirsty land, and streams on the dry ground; I will pour my Spirit upon your offspring, and my blessing on your descendants”. Heavenly Father, we cry out for those of the desert. It is hot and dry and they choke on burning sands, blinded and suffocating. […]
