Good Morning Prayer Warriors… Let’s Do Battle….

In approximately 5 hours from this post, the team will land in their first Asian city. This city is not the final destination as the team will have only spent a tad over two thirds of the sacrificial seconds. They have another 760 seconds to go. I am hoping that they have slept or are sleeping now and it has been a quiet trip, but more than anything, I am praying this prayer. Join me.

The Spirit will help us carry this burden by giving us strength to bear it; exciting us to make efforts to sustain it; and by ministering to us consolations, and truths, and views of our Christian privileges, that enable us to endure our trials (Romans 8:26). Moreover, “the Spirit greatly aids or supports us in those deep emotions, those intense feelings, those inward sighs which cannot be expressed in language, but which he enables us to bear, and which are understood by Him who searches our hearts” (Romans 8:27). Imagine each face as you pray. Imagine each person that God has anointed to serve. Imagine the 4 men and the 3 women, beautiful hands and feet. Pray for each one. Pray through the Words below as you imagine and meditate on the rich meaning of this passage.

“This was according to the eternal purpose that he has realized in Christ Jesus our Lord, in whom we have boldness and access with confidence through our faith in him. So I ask you not to lose heart over what I am suffering for you, which is your glory. For this reason I bow my knees before the Father, from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named, that according to the riches of his glory he may grant you to be strengthened with power through his Spirit in your inner being, so that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith–that you, being rooted and grounded in love, may have strength to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love of Christ that surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fullness of God. Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen” (Ephesians 3: 11-21).
