God Weaving the Threads of Our Lives into the Tapestry of His Purpose
This Sunday, the season of Advent begins. During Advent, the first candle, the Candle of Hope will be lit to shine forth into a dark and hopeless world. Regrettably, many who light this candle do not have hope.
“Do not be afraid; for I know you seek Jesus who was crucified. He is not here; for he has risen, as he said. Come, see the place where he lay. Then go quickly” (Matthew 28:5-7).
Day 7 The Last Supper – Christ discloses His earnest desire for the last hour of calm before going out into the storm of the Garden, the trials, and the cross.
Day 6: The Good of Golgotha: Living and Majestic God and Father of our Lord Christ, King of all, thank You for the goodness that You demonstrated at Golgotha.
Day 5 Thursday: Jesus Weeps Over Jerusalem. As Jesus drew closer to Jerusalem, the Temple was most certainly the main feature of the city.
“Then one of the Twelve, the one called Judas, went to the ruling kohanim and said, “What are you willing to give me if I hand Him over to you?” And they weighed out thirty shekels of silver for him. From then on, Judah began looking for a chance to hand Him over (Matthew 26:14-16, TLV).
